Datura stramonium – Crushed, ground, and pressed onto gums to cure toothache.
Solanum incanum – rinse the mouth with infusion, or rub the fruit or roots on gums.
Goldenseal – drink up to three cups per day.
Clove oil – dip a cotton ball swab into the oil and wipe it over the gums, or place a whole clove on the affected area.
Hydrogen peroxide – rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide.
Garlic – Chew peeled garlic on the affected tooth.
Guava leaves – pluck the leaves from the tree, wash them and chew them allowing the juice to touch the affected area, or boil the leaves for 20-30 minutes to make a mouth wash.
Long pepper – mix 2 table spoons of cayenne pepper with 1/2 cup of coconut oil, swish it around your mouth, then spit it out.
Mango plant – burn a few dried mango leaves and apply the ashes to the tooth, alternatively boil the leaves for 10- 20 minutes and use as mouth wash.

Njansang – use like a spice in soups, fish, beef or any dish that is prepared trough boiling.
Moringa – fine powder, drink it with water or eat with plain yogurt.
Paw paw leaf – don’t eat the skin and seeds they are toxic.
Pear tree – eat the fruit as it is, or use in fresh salads, or blend for smoothies. Use the bark or leaves, bring to boil and reduce the heat, allow to simmer for 30 minutes, strain the liquid and used as mouthwash.
Sun flower – soak the seeds in salted water over night, cook them the next day on a cookie sheet for 30-40 minutes, after they are cool, store the roasted seeds in a sealed container for snacking.
Tobacco leaves – apply on the gums as an antiseptic.
Eucalyptus tree- add eucalyptus oil drops in warm water and gargle.
