- Eat food high in fats and protein to delay alcohol absorption, giving your metabolism to clear the alcohol from the system.
- Salty and vinegar will help replace lost electrolytes
- Meat containing vitamin B6 reduce hangover symptoms, such as beef liver, tuna, salmon, fortified cereals, chickpeas, poultry and some dark leafy greens, cantaloupe, papayas ect.
- Crackers, toasted bread wit peanut butter, bagels and pasta can help to calm a sour stomach and stabilize blood sugar
- NB: When you are nauseous eat bananas, rice applesauce and toast, including ginger
